Pre-ordering at Andes Alpaca is designed so that you maintain full overview and control from the start:
- Choose your desired product from our pre-order collection ».
- Add the item to your cart as usual. All products available for pre-order are marked accordingly.
- At checkout, enter your details and make a deposit. This secures your exclusive production and usually amounts to 40€.
- You will receive a confirmation email with the estimated delivery period.
- Once the product is finished, you will be informed. After receipt of the remaining payment, your order will be shipped immediately.

Our collections appear in cycles. For pre-orders, this means:
- Production start: usually 2–3 days after the end of the pre-order phase.
- Completion & delivery: depending on the item, shipping occurs within 1-2 weeks. In particularly popular cases, slight delays may occur – about which we will inform you in good time.

What exactly does “pre-order” mean?
A pre-order is your binding reservation of a handcrafted alpaca product that is exclusively made for you. Unlike mass-produced goods, each piece is made to order – with traditional handcraftsmanship and the highest quality standards.
How long does delivery take?
After the pre-order phase ends, production begins. This is done with great care in our atelier in the Andes. Delivery usually takes four to six weeks. This time serves not only manufacturing but also the thorough quality control each piece undergoes.
Can I return pre-ordered items?
Yes, you can return all non-personalized pre-orders within 30 days after receiving the product. However, the already paid deposit is non-refundable. You will receive the remaining product value in full. This policy protects the work of our artisans and enables reliable planning.
Can I change or cancel my order?
You can cancel your pre-order within 14 days of the order date.
If cancellation occurs within six hours of ordering, the full amount – including the deposit – will be refunded. After this period, the deposit remains, while the rest is refunded.
